Govt summons meeting to review execution of 'National Action Plan'

ISLAMABAD:
The government has summoned a meeting on Wednesday to review execution of the national action plan, and to discuss how to form military courts to try jet black terrorists, officials said.

The meeting, which will be chaired by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, is also expected to discuss the next stage of this issue as President Mamnoon Hussain signs the recently passed constitutional amendments by the Parliament.


The National Assembly and the Senate had on Tuesday passed the 21st Constitutional Amendment Bill 2015 and Pakistan Army Act 1952 (Amendment) Bill 2015.

Officials said that heads of intelligence agencies and other law enforcements agencies will brief Nisar. The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), National Crisis Management Cell and coordinators of provincial home departments will update the meeting about the implementation over national action plan.
