Over speeding: Two boys killed, one injured

RAWALPINDI: Two teenage boys were killed and their friend critically injured in a road accident in Rawat, said a media report on Tuesday. Rescue 1122 officials said Umair, Khurram and Kamran, residents of Kallar Syedan, were travelling on a motorcycle after attending an Eid Miladun Nabi procession when a speeding trailer, driven by unidentified man, hit them and sped away, leaving them injured. They were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where Kamran and Umair were pronounced dead and Khurram, who was in critical condition, was referred to the District Headquarters Hospital. The police registered a case against the trolley driver, said a police official.
