Religious Processions: 12th Rabiul Awal observed in Hazara

MANSEHRA: Like other parts of the province, 12th Rabiul Awal was commemorated amid heightened security across Hazara division on Sunday. Different religious parties and groups took out over 70 processions in Haripur, Abbottabad, Havelian, Mansehra, Shinkiari, Balakot and Battagram. Hundreds of participants, including children clad in traditional Arab outfits, walked over to the designated routes of the processions. On the occasion, religious scholars shed light on the need for humanity and peace. They condemned terrorism in the country and pledged to support the Pakistan Army in its resolve to root out the menace of terrorism from the country. Security remained tight with police and elite force personnel deployed along the routes of the processions.
