Acting On Suspicions: Man kills 19-year-old wife for 'honour'

HYDERABAD: A man axed his 19-year-old wife and a person suspected of having an extramarital affair with her. The incident took place at a brick kiln in Hyderabad Rural tehsil's Tando Hyder area on Saturday. The Paban police identified the deceased woman as Saiqa and the other man as 25-year-old Ghulam Shabbir Khoso. The accused husband, Rasheed Khoso, and his brothers, Siddiq and Eeso, were arrested. Paban SHO Malik Inayatullah said that Ghulam Shabbir came to the village from Sukkur a day ago. "The people at the kiln told us that the husband caught the two victims red-handed," he said. An FIR registered on the complaint of Abdul Sami Khoso, Ghulam Shabbir's brother, has been registered against five men including Rasheed and his brothers.
