Nawaz seeks Zardari's counsel over national action plan
Former president Zardari to meet with Nawaz in Islamabad on Friday

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday invited Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari for consultations over the implementation of the National Action Plan.
Former president Zardari is expected to travel to Islamabad on Friday to attend the meeting to deliberate over strategies to counter terror and extremism in the country.
The move comes after PPP stalwart Raza Rabbani had launched a scathing attack on the government's proposed National Action Plan.
Earlier, Zardari and the PPP had extend their conditional support to the government for going ahead with military courts.
The former president had said that military courts should be established to deal with terrorism cases and would not support such courts which affect the common man and the innocents.
In a separate meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhawa officer bearers of PPP, Zardari resolved their difference and re-organised the party. Former PM Yousaf Raza Gilani, MNA Faryal Talpur, PPP vice-president Sherry Rehman, former interior minister Rehman Malik, Faisal Kareem Kundi former deputy speaker national assembly, PPP KP president Khanzada Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting the PPP office bearers expressed concerns over supporting the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government which according to them had been victimising them.
