MINGORA:
Snack manufacturers in the valley have found the silver bullet for the menace of power outages — naming snacks after them.

So to say, from now on at least children will not cringe at the word ‘load-shedding’ whenever they get to hear it.

“There are numerous snacks named along these lines. Time pass, Easy Load, Drone Baba, Wakhla Maza are some of the popular ones,” said Fazal Wahid, a shopkeeper in Amankot, while talking to The Express Tribune.

“The standard snack brands are too expensive for poor children while these local snacks suit their pockets well,” said Iftikhar Khan, another shop owner.

“I really like the flavour. These packets have less air and more chips,” Zeeshan,  a child, said gleefully.
