Sindh govt to demolish bus stands located near schools
Close circuit cameras will also be installed in schools all over the province.

Sindh Government on Wednesday decided to remove transport stands located near government and private schools in the entire province due to security reasons.
The decision to remove bus stands located near schools were taken in the wake of tragic Peshawar school incident.
“These bus stands will be demolished due to security threats,” said Provincial Minister for Transport and Mass Transits Mir Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani while presiding over a high level meeting at his office.
The officials of education, police, transport departments and representative of private school management committee attended the meeting.
Jhakhrani directed the officials to complete bio-data of school van drivers which will be registered with concerned police stations.
“The provincial government has decided to install close circuit camera at Schools in order to ensure the fool proof security arrangements,” he said.
