Mardan Medical Complex upgraded

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti, on Wednesday said that the medical needs of the Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) will be fulfilled and equiped with modern facilities.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting at his office on Wednesday.

In addition, upgradation of the District Headquarters Hospital will also be accelerated to provide modern health facilities to the people of Malakand division and adjacent districts. It will help create new opportunities for promotion of professional education in the region,
Hoti said.

Medical requirements of MMC such as instruments, infrastructure, doctors and paramedics and progress of standardisation work in DHQ Hospital were reviewed during the meeting.

Hoti assured timely appointment of doctors and fulfilment of staff deficiency. He said establishment of Accident and Emergency Centre, Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit and provision of other facilities at MMC will benefit people not only in Malakand division but also other districts.
