THATTA: The health secretary formed an inquiry committee to investigate the distribution of expired medicines in a relief camp in Thatta.

The committee was formed after an NGO distributed expired medicines in a relief camp set up at Makli football ground.

The flood victims have protested against the administration.

The health secretary has also suspended Dr Jay Kumar who distributed the expired medicines among the survivors.

Taking strict notice of the incident, Provincial Minister Sassi Palejo has ordered the administration to check all medicines before they are distributed among flood victims.

Mohammad Bangash | 13 years ago | Reply Sadafs question is very relevant, why have you not given the name of the NGO? That puts you in the dodgy category as well. Yusuf I like the idea...but if you are a Muslim, then its not workable...It is an invitation: but to make sure you/we do not make mistakes, do not accept the status quo, do not keep quiet over wrongs committed, and most important we do not make compromises to the above when it is our personal matter...which we do.
