KARACHI: The Sindh government on Sunday increased salaries of policemen in the province to bring them at par with those in the Punjab.
According to a Sindh police spokesperson, a notification for increasing salaries of police officials was issued on Sunday.
IGP Sindh GH Jamali commended the government’s, hoping that the step will encourage officials to perform their duties with more dedication and devotion.
He added that the decision had been taken in view of Sindh police’s performance.
