RAWALPINDI:
Two police men foiled a bid to steal a car from a parking lot in the City Police Station area. Traffic police Inspector Raja Fayyaz and Traffic Warden Abid Bhatti were in their duty area on Hyder Road when they noticed suspicious activity in a nearby parking lot.
As the police officials moved towards the parking lot, two men, allegedly members of a car-lifting gang, got out of a parked car and fled on foot. The police officials found that the car thieves had tampered with the car door and were about to steal it.
The car belonged to Lateef. Later the police officials handed over the car to the owner.
