Seven alleged BLF militants arrested in Gwadar search operation: FC
Security forces carried out search operation and recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition

The Frontier Corps (FC) on Thursday arrested seven alleged militants of the banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) during a search operation.
Security forces carried out search operation near the coastal highway in Chakwali and Shadi Khor on a tip-off, an FC spokesperson said.
“FC had recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition (during the raid),” he added.
“These militants were involved in the deadly attack on a trailer carrying fertiliser from Gwadar to Karachi. One man was killed and an official of Pakistan Navy among three sustained bullet wounds in the attack.”
According to the FC statement, officials seized three Chinese-made automatic weapons, one pistol, two 8-MM Rifles, one 12-bore Rifle and 600 rounds of different caliber.

Inspector General FC Balochistan, Ejaz Shahid in his statement applauded the FC operation. “Militants who are working on foreign agendas have been targeting innocent truck drivers in Balochistan. They want to disturb peace in the province but FC will not let them succeed.”
