PESHAWAR: Expressing solidarity with the victims of Peshawar attack, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Leader Rehman Malik on Thursday said the martyrs of the carnage deserve Nishan-e-Haider, Express News reported.

Addressing the media outside the Army Public School in Peshawar, the leader said the culprits of the attack seem to neither accept Islam nor humanity.

“Lacunas in anti-terrorism laws should be identified and filled by the legal authorities,” Malik added.

“The government will try the terrorists in a tribunal headed by an army official,” PPP leader said.

Meanwhile,  Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq - while observing Jinnah's 138th birth anniversary - said the country should be led according to the vision of the Muhammad Ali Jinnah and guarantee protection to every citizen.
