Systematic governance: Ministries to incorporate e-office system
The sources said the roll out of the e-office suit is in progress in nine ministries and divisions

The National Information Technology Board (NITB) has imparted training to more than 1,500 federal government employees on the e-office system being implemented in federal ministries and divisions to guarantee better governance. Sources said a multi-ministry, single instance application has also been developed and installed at central repository while e-government fiber-optic based dedicated and secure intranet has been established. The sources said the roll out of the e-office suit is in progress in nine ministries and divisions, which include the Prime Minister Office, National Assembly Secretariat, Finance Division, Planning Commission, Science and Technology, Information Technology, Cabinet, Establishment and Economic Affairs Division and subsequently, it will be implemented in other ministries and divisions in a phased manner.
