Supermodel Kendall Jenner posted photo of herself, wearing a helmet, on Instagram — in which she appears to be behind the wheel of a race car — with the caption “game face” and the hashtag #jennerracing. Turns out, she was driving her brother Burt’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo, reported refinery29.com.
Burt, Bruce Jenner’s son from his first marriage and owner of Jenner Racing, tends to stay out of the limelight. Kendall’s father Bruce and half-brother Burt are keen motor enthusiasts. And it appears to have rubbed off on Kendall Jenner as she spent Saturday racing some high-powered sports cars at a track near Los Angeles. The 19-year-old model donned a black driving suit and crash helmet for the outing with 36-year-old Burt who termed the teen ‘a natural.’ He posted another photo of Kendall looking super cute in racing gear with the caption “She has driven everything today from skid pad in an M3 to 125cc karts to auto cross in a Porsche and now the old Jenner Racing Lamborghini Super Trofeo! She’s definitely a natural!”
Kendall’s post prompted a tweet back from IndyCar and aspiring Formula 1 driver Conor Daly, who said “Let me know if you need some pointers.”
The 19-year-old model’s work has pretty much run the gamut on the runways, and she continues to appear in original campaigns. Now, the Keeping up With the Kardashians star is all set to take her modelling skills in front of the video camera in an Andy Warhol-inspired pop art video, reported E!Online.
The video will show her dressing up as a cast of characters with hi-tech effects and glitchy-seeming video helping her transition from one to the next. Having appeared on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Givenchy and Balmain in her debut year, we can see why she’s all the rage this season.
With the support of colleagues and family, Kendall is living the modelling dream now that she has been named the new face of Estée Lauder all while nabbing a Karl Lagerfeld campaign.
