Police raid: Alleged robber arrested in Bhimber

Police on Sunday night arrested a man who had allegedly looted an arms shop a month ago in Bhimber some 230 kilometres from here. According to the police, burglars broke into an arms shop in Kadhala Bazaar, Bhimber on the night of November 12 and managed to escape with arms and ammunition worth Rs0.8 million. The police arrested Muhammad Imran, who they claim was the main person involved in the robbery, while he was travelling in a private car LEC7950 in the limits of Bhimber area. The police said that they had also recovered some stolen weapons from Imran. The police said it would continue its raids until the remaining robbers were arrested.
