PPFL: Goals galore as PAF dominate Baloch FC 9-0
Peshawar-based outfit regains second place in PPFL table
KARACHI:
PAF regained their second place in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they thrashed Baloch FC 9-0 at the Dr Muhammad Ali Shah Stadium on Saturday.
Muhammad Mujahid scored the opening goal in the fifth minute, and went on to score two more goals in the first half.
Meanwhile, teenager and national player Mansoor Khan scored in the 16th minute of the match, while Muhammad Salman scored two goals in the 18th minute and in the extra-time as PAF led 6-0 at the interval.
Mujahid scored again in the 56th minute, while Mansoor completed his hat-trick by scoring in the 75th and 77th minute to seal the win.
PAF now have 31 points and still trail Army by five points, who are on the top of the table with 36 points.
Baloch FC is facing relegation with only three points after playing 17 matches in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Wapda stunned defending champions KRL 1-0 in Lahore.
In today’s fixture, Afghan FC will play K-Electric in Karachi.
