Man booked for ‘kidnapping’
RAWALPINDI:
A man was booked on kidnapping charges in Sadiqabad.
The man was booked for allegedly kidnapping a 16-year-old girl. The missing girl’s father lodged a complaint with the police that his daughter had gone to school in the morning but did not come home.
He suspected that she might have been kidnapped by Shoaib Khan*. Meanwhile, Muhammad Hussain approached the same police to report that he was on way home when three armed robbers intercepted him near a gas station on Benazir Bhutto Road and snatched Rs50,000 cash, foreign currency, two laptop computers and other valuables.
Meanwhile, Qaiser Javed lodged a report with the police that auto-thieves had stolen his Toyota Corolla (LXJ-2231) from outside his house. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws.
