Ensure upkeep: ‘Keep the parks green’

BAHAWALPUR: During a visit to various parks in the district on Tuesday, Rahim Yar Khan DCO Nabeel Javed directed park authorities to maintain parks expeditiously. He said millions had been spent on developing the parks. He instructed the authorities to speed up the final phase of renovation at Family and Children Park. Javed also visited Jugnoo Chowk, Nawab Sadiq Khan Abbasi Park and Gulshan Iqbal Family Park. He said authorities must take care of the parks so that people could enjoy them. The DCO requested members of the community to form a committee to coordinate with administration officials to ensure upkeep of the parks.
