BB murder case: Court to hear application against former CPO, SP
Anti-terrorism court to hear application for trial and indictment of former police officials.
An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi will be hearing an application for the trial and indictment of former City Police Officer (CPO) Saud Aziz and former superintendent police (SP) Khurram Shahbaz in the case of Benazir Bhutto’s murder in Rawalpindi.
The application for the trial was filed by public prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfikar Ali on behalf of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The FIA’s Joint Investigation Team last week charge-sheeted Saud Aziz and Khuram Shahbaz, accusing them of being responsible for hosing down the crime scene and providing inadequate security to former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
