Raid: Police bust bike-lifter gang
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police on Saturday arrested four suspects motorcycle thieves from Bhara Kahu, said a police spokesperson. Bhara Kahu police arrested the four suspected thieves and recovered two stolen bikes, an MP5 gun, three pistols, ammunition and cash from the gang. The four suspects were identified as Faisal Khalil from Abbottabad, Ghulam Muhammad from Rawalpindi, Nasar Mehmood from Taxila, and Chan Zaib from Abbottabad. The police statement says the gang was wanted by the Islamabad Police in different cases. Police said the suspects had confessed to their involvement in different crimes. Inspector General of the Islamabad Police Tahir Alam Khan appreciated the police team that busted the gang and announced cash prize and commendation certificate for them.
