Imran wishes to make Namal University Pakistan's Oxford University

Imran says when you aim for something, there is no turning back

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that the country's institutions have collapsed because they are not autonomous.

Speaking at an event at Namal University in Mianwali, Imran said, “There will be no political interference in Namal University, which is why it will be a success.”

The PTI chief serves as chairman of the board of governors of the Namal Education Foundation, which is the sponsoring body of Namal College.

Stressing the importance of making the university at par with the standards of Oxford University, the PTI chairman said, “To become a prime minister is not a big thing but if this university becomes Oxford University and the center of learning, then that is big.”

Addressing the gathering, Imran explaining secrets for success said, “If you are doing something difficult, then you have to prepare for hardships and to overcome obstacles.”

“Whenever you aim for something then there is no turning back,” an apparent refutation of claims that he takes U-turns.
