Judge directs CCPO to submit a reply and adjourns the hearing until December 18

LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday sought a reply from the capital city police officer on a petition seeking recovery of a youth from illegal police’s detention. Petitioner Zakiya Jamshed told the court that her son Ali Jamshed and Qasim Siddique had gone to Lahore airport in January 2011. She said Siddique had died in a stowaway fall and police had arrested Jamshed. She said police had detained his son at an undisclosed location. The judge directed the CCPO to submit a reply and adjourned the hearing until December 18.
