Flying colours: Girls grab top positions in BDS exam

LAHORE:
The University of Health Sciences on Wednesday declared the results of its second professional bachelor of dental surgery annual examination. 640 students from 11 affiliated dental colleges appeared. Out of these 454 passed and 170 failed the examination bringing the pass percentage to 72.76%. Noorulain Mir of Sialkot’s Islam Dental College secured first position. Eezzah Laraibe of Sharif Medical and Dental College and Eeshaa Ijaz of the Nishtar Institute of Dentistry in Multan secured the second and third position.
