Malala vows to work with more vigour

Malala has also invited five inspiring girls to join her at award giving ceremony today

ISLAMABAD/OSLO:

Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize recipient and education activist, on Tuesday vowed to work for protection of children’s rights not only in Pakistan but across the world with more vigour and dedication.

Addressing a ceremony held in honour of the winners of Nobel Peace Prize-2014 in Oslo, Norway, she expressed the resolve to continue her struggle for bringing all girls and boys in the education net and to fight for their rights.

The co-winner of Nobel Peace Prize, Kailash Satyarthi, said apathy is the biggest obstacle to eliminating forced child labour and the world needs more education to reduce intolerance and increase peace.

Malala has also invited five inspiring girls to join her at award giving ceremony today, the Malala Fund announced on Tuesday. She will be joined in Oslo by Shazia Ramzan, Kainat Riaz and Kainat Soomro from Pakistan, Mezon Almellehan from Syria and Amina Yusuf from Nigeria.
