No Respite: Nine more children die in Tharparkar
Four of these deaths occurred in Civil Hospital, Mithi
HYDERABAD:
At least nine more children reportedly died in drought-hit Tharparkar on Tuesday, taking the unofficial death for the current year toll to 533. Four of these deaths occurred in Civil Hospital, Mithi. The deceased were identified as three-weeks-old Ramesh, son of Majnu, 14-year-old Ramesh Kumar, son of Gopal and two newborn sons of Mahind Rao and Chanesar Meghwadh. A four-month-old infant, Resham, daughter of Pehlaj Meghwadh, died in Taluka Hospital, Chachro. Two more deaths were reported from Chachro’s village, Rariya, where a newborn daughter of Haroon Rahimon and four-month- old Razia, daughter of Jamal Rahimon, reportedly died. Separately, a newborn son of Nazar Nohrio in Diplo tehsil’s village Allah Dino Nohrio and four-year-old Anila, daughter of Ameen Hajam, in village Aurhamar in Nangarparkar tehsil reportedly died.
