Trade associations not to stay quiet

LAHORE: Trade associations and businessmen have decided to launch a series of protests from November 23 against the three-day gas cut.

In the first phase, protest would be staged at Shahdara on November 23, which would start from Zeno Textile Mills and reach the main road where thousands of industrialists and workers would join the rally.

The All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association, Ferozepur Road Industrial Association, Shahdara Industrial Association, Lahore Township Industrial Association, Sheikhupura Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) and other industrial associations have jointly given the protest call.
