Protesters condemned incident, demanded PM to step down
QUETTA:
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) staged a protest demonstration in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan on Tuesday as part of the countrywide mourning against their worker’s killing in Faisalabad on Monday.
Two groups of 15 to 20 people each raised slogans against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in their protest outside the Quetta press club.
They were carrying party flags and banners inscribed with slogans, including "Go Nawaz Go".
“The Faisalabad incident is an eye-opener for people,” said Humayun Barkwal, a local leader of the PTI, while addressing the demonstration.
The protesters condemned the incident, demanded the prime minister to immediately step down and punish those responsible for the killing.
