The kidnapped preachers belong to Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Three members of the Tablighi Jamaat have been kidnapped by armed men from Wazirani area of Chattar in Naseerabad district on Monday. The kidnapped preachers belong to Azad Jammu and Kashmir. “Saleem Kashmiri, Nasir Kashmiri and Sohail Ahmed Kashmiri had come to Chattar from AJK for preaching when armed men took them away,” a senior police officer in Chattar confirmed. Police and security forces have launched a search in the area to ensure the safe recovery of the kidnapped men. Chattar town shares a border with militancy-hit Bugti Tribal Territory where insurgents often attack security forces and gas pipelines.
