Bollywood trio: Aamir on the three Khans in a film together

Actor says his fans won’t see a Satyamev Jayate season, film release from him next year

MUMBAI:
Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan said a project starring Bollywood’s three Khans, Shahrukh, Salman and himself, would be exciting and that he would be happy to do it. The trio recently appeared together on anchor Rajat Sharma’s show Aap Ki Adalat.

“I think a film with the three of us would be exciting and if a script, which appeals to the three of us, comes up, I’m sure we would be happy to do it,” he said. Aamir, who is currently busy promoting his much-awaited film PK, said he has neither signed any new films nor is he going to do his TV show Satyamev Jayate next year. “I’m not doing Satyamev Jayate next year and am not doing any films, at present. I’m currently reading scripts and deciding what to do next. When I find a good script that excites me, I will sign it,” he shared.

Commenting on why his popular TV show won’t return in 2015, he said, “Since Satyamev Jayate just completed a series, we feel we need a break after five years of research for emotional reasons and to heal.” He added, “We would come back, but don’t know when. But next year, you won’t see a release from me.” Aamir’s PK, which features Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput, is slated to release December 19.
