National heritage: Govt set to restore Dilip Kumar’s house
Protecting and restoring Sheikhupura Fort

Government is taking various steps to for the protection and restoration of Sheikhupura Fort and declaring the ancestral house of veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar (Yousaf Khan) in Peshawar as a national heritage. An official from ministry of information, broadcasting and national heritage while talking to APP said some hope for the fort, built by Mughal King Jahangir, appeared when the US Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) awarded $0.8 million grant for its conservation.
