Drone Strike: TTP member among those killed

PESHAWAR: A member of the banned TTP who belonged to Swabi district was among the six militants killed in a US drone attack in Afghanistan on Tuesday. Faizullah, also known as Shah Khalid, who was around 26 years old, died in the drone attack across Kabul River in Afghan territory which is located just opposite Shalman, Khyber Agency. According to insiders, his wife was informed about his death and smuggled into Afghanistan by local militant supporters. Faizullah was reportedly buried in the same region with the consent of his widow. According to Faizullah’s relatives, five others, including top militant commanders, were killed in the drone attack.
