Bus-rickshaw collision kills 4 students, injures 3 in Toba Tek Singh
Injured in critical condition, shifted to hospital
TOBA TEK SINGH:
Four students were killed and three others were injured in a collision between a bus and a rickshaw in Sindhilianwali district of Toba Tek Singh on Friday morning, Express News reported.
The motorcycle rickshaw, taking students to their school, collided with the oncoming bus while making a turn.
The three injured include the rickshaw driver and are in critical condition. They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Toba Tek Singh.
Police and rescue personnel reportedly reached the site a little late.
Parents of the victims staged a protest against the rickshaw driver with the bodies in their hands.
Roads in the area where the accident took place are reportedly in poor condition.
Earlier on November 29, three children died while 20 were injured after a school bus plunged into a drain in the Kahna area of Lahore.
