Robbery: Rs19m snatched from money changers
The robbers fled and the motorcyclist and the woman also disappeared from the scene amid utter confusion

Armed robbers snatched Rs19 million from two money changers at gunpoint near Soan Bridge in the airport police area on Thursday, police and the victims said. According to police, Raja Sajjad and Shabbir, moneychangers from Azad Kashmir, were returning to Dhudial in a car with the money after exchanging 70,000 British pounds in Saddar, when a motorcyclist with a woman on the pillion seat hit their car from behind on GT Road. According to the police, one of the money changers and the driver got off the car to ascertain if the motorcyclists were safe. In the meanwhile, three persons showed up in a car and snatched the bag containing the amount from one of the money changers. The robbers fled and the motorcyclist and the woman also disappeared from the scene amid utter confusion. A case has been registered.
