Wrong side of law: Two cops held for looting citizens
The complainants added that the taxi driver was also involved with the accused
KARACHI:
Two police constables were arrested for allegedly looting cash from citizens on Thursday. The two police personnel, Arshad and Ansar, who were posted to the Brigade police station, were arrested by personnel of the same station on the complaint of a person, identified as Bilal Khan. The complainant told police that he, along with two friends, had returned from abroad and was on his way home in a taxi when the accused personnel intercepted their cab and looted Rs19,500 while searching them. The complainants added that the taxi driver was also involved with the accused. SHO Jahanzeb said that a case has been registered against both policemen and the taxi driver.
