Audiences get the chance to become a part of Game of Thrones as the HBO television series has finally launched on multiple gaming platforms, such as Playstation, Xbox, OS X and iOS and Android reported the website for Time Magazine.
The game has been developed by Telltales Games and is set against various backdrops depending on the character every player chooses. It has multiple storylines allowing each players to maneuver their characters and select their dialogue responses as well.
Telltale Games has previously released games of several notable television series and comic book series, such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands. All of these games are episodic video games with the developers developing the game on a regular basis.
So far only one episode for the game has been released on multiple gaming platforms with five more episodes slated to release very soon.
According to Telltale Games players will control one of five members of the Forresters which may include either a family member with decisions made by every character impacting the other characters, the fate of the house and eventually the storyline.
The gaming website, Game Informer stated that some of the principal cast members, such as Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and Ramsay Snow (Iwan Rheon) have lent the voices for their own characters in the game.
