Returning favour: India releases four Pakistani nationals
The released prisoners claimed that they had endured discriminatory treatment in the Indian prisons

India on Tuesday handed over four Pakistani prisoners to Rangers personnel at the Wagah border in acknowledgement of the recent release of 36 Indian fishermen that were repatriated to India from Karachi’s district jail last Friday.
They further said that Indian security agencies flouted orders by their courts and booked them in fake cases. An estimated 400 Pakistani fishermen are currently facing detention in Indian prisons.

According to details, Javed Alam Shumail, Mohammad Alamgir, Hafiz Noman Butt and Shahnawaz were released by the Indian authorities. These Pakistani nationals were facing detention in Indian prisons despite finishing their respective sentences long time ago.
