'India will not be of any threat to Pakistan without veto power'

Pakistan's permanent envoy to the UN, Abdullah Hussain Haroon said India will never be able to secure a permanent seat at the UN Security Council unless it is backed by China and Russia.
Speaking to media in Hyderabad, he said India will not be of any threat to Pakistan without veto power.
US President Barack Obama's support of India's right to get a UN Security Council seat has not gone down well in Pakistan.
Haroon has called for "judicious use of resources" to achieve financial stability in Pakistan, cautioning that China and India are the emerging powers in the region.
The envoy said he had almost completed his tenure in the UN and was not interested in continuing in the post. He said he has written to the president that he wants to return to Pakistan.
