Fatal drought: 4 more infants die in Tharparkar
Takes mortality toll to 137 since Oct 1
HYDERABAD:
Four more infants died in the drought-hit area of Tharparkar on Monday, taking the mortality toll to 137 since October 1 this year. Three of these deaths were reported from villages in Mithi, Diplo and Islamkot tehsils while one from Civil Hospital, Mithi. Three-year-old Sanjoo, daughter of Bhugro Bheel, died in village Borli, one-month-old Umer, son of Waleed, died in village Babusar and newborn Yasmeen, daughter of Abdullah, lost her life in village Bhonryani.
