SUKKUR: A teenage girl was killed by her father over the pretext of karo-kari in Abdul Qadir Khoso village near Jacobabad’s Thul district on Monday. Pir Bux Solangi suspected that his daughter, Arbi Khatoon, was in a relationship with someone in the area. On Monday morning, as she was preparing breakfast, Solangi shot her dead and escaped. The body was taken to Thul taluka hospital for post-mortem and then, as a female doctor was unavailable, to Civil Hospital, Jacobabad. It was later handed over to her relatives. A case has yet to be registered.
