Gone in 60 seconds: Wanted criminal escapes from LRH

A proclaimed offender escaped from police custody in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) on Saturday night. According to an official of Badhaber police, Naveed alias TT had been brought to LRH after he was injured in an encounter. “He was shot and injured in an exchange of fire during a raid at his house,” he added. Police arrested him after he was injured and sent him to the hospital. Policemen were deputed outside the trauma room at LRH where he was being treated. “However, Naveed managed to dodge the policemen and escape,” the official said.
