Rest In Peace: Former judge Saleem Akhtar dies
KARACHI:
A former judge of the Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court, Justice (retd) Saleem Akhtar, passed away in Karachi on Saturday at the age of 82. He was laid to rest at the Gizri graveyard of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA). Justice (retd) has served at the Sindh Judicial Academy as director-general and was the first Federal Tax Ombudsman of Pakistan. He was fighting will ill health and weakness that resulted in his death, said his son Arshad Faruqui.
