Bombed: 8 militants killed in air raids
Injures 15 as jet planes bomb hideouts in areas of Jamrud tehsil located near Tirah Valley

At least eight militants were killed and 15 others injured when jet planes of the security forces bombed their hideouts in various remote areas of Jamrud tehsil located near the Tirah Valley on Friday. An official of the security forces said that jet fighters bombed five hideouts in Tor Dara, Sra Vila, Wochay Vany and Sorkas areas at around 6:00pm, killing eight and injuring 15 militants. The official said that the five hideouts were levelled to the ground. All these areas are mountainous and located 200 kilometres south-west of Jamrud Bazaar. The casualties could not be confirmed from independent sources due to lack of communication system in the area.
