DCO Gujranwala orders arrest of PTI supporters ahead of Nov 30 rally
Traffic police ordered to prevent PTI members from using their vehicles

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Gujranwala has ordered police to arrest 93 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers for "security reasons" before they depart for Islamabad to attend the November 30 rally, Express News reported on Friday.
According to a notification issued by DCO Azmat Mehmood, City Police Officer Waqas Nazeer was directed to arrest PTI supporters, while traffic police was asked to prevent them from using their vehicles.
The notification contains a list of 93 names, including some PTI members who contested last year’s general elections.
Further, PTI’s district vice president Qasim Akram Warraich said he received a phone call last night from a police officer in which he was warned that he would be arrested if he attempted to use his vehicle.
