The scheme was announced by Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah during a meeting at the CM House in Karachi on Wednesday.
Under the scheme, two separate annexes will be built in the House, one for the chief minister and one for the governor.
The scheme further aims to convert the Sindh House into a comparatively beautiful building by virtue of its external and internal designs as well as the decorative works.
The officers of works and services department reviewed the proposed plan of the scheme in the meeting.
Shah directed the officers to speed up the formal paper work and start the construction by January next year.
The chief minister directed the officers to submit a summary of a volume of the required funds which were supposed to be consumed by the end of the current financial year and also assured for releasing the same.
He asked the concerned officials to appoint a local engineer for continuous monitoring of construction work.
Shah further said that the government tended to provide a better environment and better facilities to the Sindh government ministers and officials during their visits to Sindh.
