Human trafficking: 41 Pakistanis deported from Muscat

Fourteen Pakistanis deported from Muscat arrived at the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Tuesday. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said they had illegally travelled to Muscat on a boat. During the preliminary interrogation, they said that some travel agents had arranged their journey to Muscat. The men have been sent to FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further questioning. Separately, Tanzila Atif, a resident of Sialkot, was offloaded from an Italy-bound flight PK733 for trying to travel on another woman’s passport. She was also sent to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle.
