Crossfire in Charsadda kills 4, injures 16 others
Two rival groups open fire at a wedding
CHARSADDA:
At least four people were killed and 16 others injured on Sunday in Khan Mahi area of Charsadda after a scuffle broke out between two opposing groups at a wedding.
According to Express News, the rival groups were invited to the wedding and upon seeing each other, started firing.
Rescue and security officials reached the site soon afterwards and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
The death toll is feared to rise as most of the wounded have suffered critical injuries.
