ANF operations: 3 nabbed, drugs seized
Recovers 370 grams of amphetamine from bag
ISLAMABAD:
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi apprehended Muhammad Mumtaz, a resident of Khushab, and recovered 370 grams of amphetamine from his bag during road checking at Chungi No 26, GT Road.
During initial interrogation, the suspect confessed of having ingested heroin-filled capsules. Amin intended to board for Dubai by a Shaheen Airlines flight. He was admitted at Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi for the recovery of capsules.

The drugs were to be handed over to his accomplice, identified as Zeeshan, a resident of Khushab, for smuggling to Saudi Arabia.
After initial investigations, ANF also arrested Zeeshan who had ingested heroin-filled capsules at Benazir Bhutto International Airport. He was to fly to Jeddah by a Shaheen International Airlines flight.
Moreover, during routine profiling, ANF officials at the airport detained a passenger, identified as Akhtar Amin a resident of Buner, on suspicion of carrying heroin.
