Still fighting: Afghan Taliban say Mullah Omar is alive
The Afghan Intelligence NDS said on Wednesday that the Taliban leader had possibly died
ISLAMABAD:
The Afghan Taliban rejected as “propaganda” on Thursday intelligence reports that their reclusive leader, Mullah Mohammad Omar, had been killed.
Rejecting the claims, Taliban spokesman said that NDS has launched a propaganda following its failure to stop recent attacks by the group in Kabul and across Afghanistan. NDS, which has completely failed to stop attacks by the Mujahideen, has claimed that Ameerul Momineen Mullah Muhammad Omar has passed away, he said.
