Faisalabad police on Wednesday introduced a bomb-proof cash box for businessmen.
Talking to The Express Tribune, City Police Officer (CPO) Sohail Habib Tajik said police had launched Safe City project, under which awareness would be raised on the various devices introduced to minimise crimes.
He said police had introduced a cash box which was bomb proof and needed a computerised code for locking and unlocking it. The CPO further said the box was connected to a tracker and if anyone tried to break the lock, an alert would be sent to the police along with the location of box.
